On July 15, 2022 Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) released a Request for Expressions of Interest for its Cambridge Harbor Development.

On June 7, 2022 Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) presented an updated site plan for Cambridge Harbor and a project status update to the City, of Cambridge Planning Commission. The updated Cambridge Harbor site plan is the result of the latest round of public comments.

In early 2021 Cambridge Waterfront Development Inc. (CWDI) selected a diverse group of locals to be a part of a Community Advisory Committee tasked with spearheading the naming and branding of the future waterfront project.

Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) hosted Secretary Kenneth C. Holt and a team from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development along with Governor Larry Hogan’s Deputy Chief of Staff Allison Mayer.

The Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) Board of Directors has named Matt Leonard to the position of Executive Director of their organization, which is charged with planning, promoting, and facilitating the redevelopment of the Cambridge Waterfront site on the Choptank River.

Cambridge Waterfront Development, Inc. (CWDI) acquired the former Dorchester General Hospital property, including the 17.2 acres of land, the decommissioned hospital, and three medical office buildings. The land encompasses nearly half of the CWDI’s eventual development area.

Amid the COVID19 pandemic, CWDI in collaboration with BCT Design Group (BCT) prepared a Virtual Community Presentation and associated survey that were hosted on a webpage for a period of 6 weeks, between December 2020 – January 2021.
