
Mike is a retired Professional Civil Engineer (in nineteen states) with decades of experience in guiding major regional infrastructure and development projects. He previously served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors for a 500 person engineering consulting firm in Rockville, MD. Under his leadership, the firm expanded its footprint to eight states while executing complex civil, transportation and environmental projects. The firm was consistently ranked in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 500 Consulting Firms in the US based on revenue.
His notable portfolio included high level advisory and engineering services on the landmark Washington, D.C. Wharf Redevelopment. The highly successful project included a multiphase development of a 25 acre waterfront area along the Washington Channel/ Potomac River and a significant marina. He directed engineering services for a number of infrastructure projects on the Eastern Shore including MSHA District 1 On-call Engineering and Construction Inspection, Salisbury Drainage Relief and infrastructure improvements in Church Creek.
Mike served as President of the Metro Washington D.C. Member Organization of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and is a Fellow of that organization.
