Michael J. Frenz has been the Executive Director of the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) since December 2008. Mike earned a BA from Yale University, an MBA from Syracuse University and is the holder of a CFA charter.
As MSA’s Executive Director, he oversees the strategic efforts and fiduciary responsibilities associated with the organization. Prior to joining MSA, Mike was the Executive Vice President of Ginnie Mae, the federally-owned mortgage security issuer. Before his tenure at Ginnie Mae, Mike served with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked with the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Mike has been the Governor’s Appointee to the CWDI Board of Directors since 2018 where his deep understanding of large-scale public-private development, funding and financing has proven invaluable.
